Our approach to research and best practice

Our approach is based on work with hundreds of schools and settings to help them embed attachment and trauma aware practice.

Each setting is different, but we have found common factors in successful approaches and these are built into our developmental pathway and commissioning training advice. As a result, we advocate whole school approaches, in which everyone is trained; schools working collaboratively and with their Local Authority Virtual Head, in order to share practice and action research. Therefore, there is a qualitative and quantitative understanding of long-term impact.

ARC membership can support your development as an attachment and trauma aware setting.
